Raised in Louisiana, Ashley quickly turned her sights to studying interior design, and went on to develop her knowledge at Auburn University. Summers spent taking coursework at the New York School of Interior Design and working for famed designer Richard Keith Langham in NYC further honed Ashley’s skills. An Interior Design degree from Auburn in hand, Ashley launched into the hospitality, commercial, and residential design field working with clients across the country.
In 2007, Ashley started Ashley Freeman Gilbreath Interior Design, melding her love for client interaction, personal relationships and casual, elegant design. Since its founding, AFGID has completed commercial and residential projects across the Southeast operating from a full-service design studio in Montgomery, Ala.
Ashley has a knack for celebrating timeless neutrals and blending old and new elements into sophisticated practicality, always aiming to showcase the client’s taste and style above all. Alongside husband Barrett, daughter Cates and two boxers (Lawyer and Coco), Ashley lives in Montgomery’s Old Cloverdale neighborhood in a historic, Southern “Arts and Crafts” home she and Barrett restored.
Born and raised in Montgomery, Ala., Rebecca graduated from Auburn University with a degree in public relations. She is also the newest addition to AFGID. Rebecca and her husband started a dental assisting school in Montgomery in the spring of 2013 where she is the Program Director. She wanted something to so a few days a week and found herself at Ashley Gilbreath Interior Design.
Rebecca is wife to Wright and mom to their two dogs, Tank and Willie. She and her husband reside just east of Montgomery in Pike Road, AL. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys cooking, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her husband and chances are if you knock on her door after 5:00 pm she will invite you in for a glass of wine!
Born and raised in Montgomery, Ala., Jessica graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in interior design. She is also the newest addition to AFGID. Jessica has a background in art history, furnishings, fabrics, and has a unique style that allows her work to be memorable. Her style can be described as casually elegant with an obsession for details.
Jessica is wife to Tyler and mom to their dog, Darcy. She and her husband reside just north of Montgomery in Prattville, AL. Jessica spends her spare time antiquing, watching reality tv, and hunting for interior treasures for her new home!
