FRIDAY FAVORITES…

Things we’re loving lately:

In honor of school starting right around the corner, first on the list is this awesome desk lamp! A favorite at PARISH, we’ve brought this guy back to the store on multiple occasions. I can’t explain how happy I am that I don’t have to go back to class or pull any more all-nighters but I like to think that this guy would make sitting down to a desk a little bit more appealing.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Amanda and Ashley are both expecting!! We are all so excited! Babies are the topic of conversation on a very regular basis so I couldn’t help but add this precious onsie to the list… (There are probably some cute Alabama onsies too but my daddy would disown me if I posted one. :) )

Auburn “Love” Applique Gingham Onsie from Esty (War Eagle to this cutie)

This beautiful sunburst mirror is my favorite kind of sun lately… it’s too flippin’ hot down here in Montgomery to spend any time under the rays of the real thing. Keep your eyes on our facebook page for an update when this guy hits the shelves at PARISH.

If you read our recent post about what we keep in our purses, koozies were a top contender for the #1 must-have-at-all-times item. Thanks to Pinterest, I found these cuties and a couple dozen more at this awesome site. You can completely customize the colors, monograms, names, etc, etc. This is definitely a gift idea that I will remember for the future.

Our newest pillows are a definite fave here at PARISH. These snazzy zebra print pillows are 22″ x 22″ and soft as can be. We put them right by the front door so that we see them every morning as we walk in.

I couldn’t do a Friday Favorite list without some jewelry. Amanda found our new favorite site for cute, inexpensive jewelry. I already did some damage and placed a couple orders from them… I couldn’t help it! My most recent find is this cute pair of coral and gold earrings. I’m obsessed.

The final favorite is K. Hall’s summer scented candle in Sweet Magnolia. We burned this candle pretty much every day this week and have had more compliments than ever on how great the shop smells!

Hope y’all enjoyed our Friday Favorites. If you are interested in anything from PARISH, give us a call! We will be glad to ship to our out of town readers.

Happy Friday!!

updates, updates, updates

Talk about crazy. Between big interior jobs, construction, preparing for a fun sale, 3 out of our 4 studio computers crashing, surgeries, sickness…you name it, it’s happened…we have been nuts over here!!! Few quick updates on what’s going on the AFGID and Parish side and on the Gilbreath home front.

Super, super, super fun project we have going on at the beach…and I mean ON THE BEACH. Y’all would die if you saw these views. Not to mention, there is a little, or I should say a lot of FAME associated with the job. Much more to come later. Here is a quick shot of the inspirational palette we are working with. We are installing mid April. Can’t wait to show off the pics. One of my favorite jobs thus far…

On the PARISH side, there is a BIG SALE and an all day Wine Down Wednesday coming up tag teamed with an awesome one of a kind vintage jewelry show from an Atlanta designer (check out some of the beautiful pieces here: Vintage Green Jewelry) and our Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting all on this coming Wednesday the 28th. So, those of you spring breaking it the wonderful Montgomery, come stop by. Not kidding, this jewelery is AMAZING.

On the personal side, my P-Pi had to have her tubes redone after just 6 weeks, her adenoids removed and her sinuses flushed this past Friday. She did great; her Mom did not. I seriously cried like a baby as they went to take my screaming, scared to death child out of my arms. Good news is, in the last 3 days, I have not wiped a nose even once!!!!!!! Pray this continues. It is so nice to have a well child, even if it only lasts for a few days. On top of her surgery, Lawyer (my first baby) got fixed, the whole fam had the stomach bug (including a hospital stay for me), Annie, our fabulous nanny, has been in the hospital for almost a week with conjestive heart failure (she’s out now and doing great)… My precious Mom came to save the day and has been with us for several days. Couldn’t live without her. I think Cates is liking her better than me. Not kidding.

Cates 2 days after surgery...is that not the cutest fanny ever?!

Happy girl!!

Needless to say, some fun things are coming up and life is good and super crazy. Stay tuned for more pics of the progress on the Cloverdale house redo. Fingers crossed it will be done in 6 weeks. (Just one more thing to add to the craziness.)

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
