FALL FASHION…A GIRL CAN DREAM.

Fall has always been my favorite season for clothes.  I love the rich colors and layers of cozy texture.  There is a sophistication that comes with fall clothing.  Having said that, I am at fat pregnant lady that is dreaming of the day when I do not have to wear jersey.  I am serious.  I NEVER want to own another piece of jersey as long as I live.  So to torture myself further I have a put together my fall wish list.  Please indulge yourselves and buy one of these fab items.  Then you can write me and tell me how gorgeous you feel in it!  Enjoy.

J. Crew’s School Boy Blazer in Boulevard Green. OMG, yes!

Kate Spade’s Licorice Pump. The perfect black high heels.

Free People’s Vegan Leather Leggings. I will have to do a lot running to get into these, but I think it is totally worth it.

Steve Madden Vegass flats. I am ordering these regardless of my feet swelling. My sweet friend Meghan bought these, and they are amazing! The perfect amount of toe cleavage. :)

Zara Coat with Gathered Shoulders and Metallic Buttons. This is a perfect mix of masculine and feminine. Absolutely timeless.

Zara Puff Sleeve Dress in Maroon. This is a very versatile dress. I would love to wear it with black tights and some killer heels. Sigh.

Target, yes Target, Black Peplum Top. Peplums are all the rage this season, but ladies you do not have to break the bank to sport this trend! This precious top can be yours for only $20.00!! Score!

Well there you have it.  A list of my fall must haves.  Which were your favorites?  Charlie will be here in less than 60 days.  Hopefully I will have a chance to wear one or two of these fabulous fall finds.  Hope everyone is having a great week!  Until next time!!

Fun Fashion Friday

Happy Friday everyone!

In honor of my new insane 5 inch killer (hopefully I literally won’t die in them, but I did break a wrist in some similar to this once…) platforms that just arrived at my doorstep via Macy’s, I’ve decided to share some of my current fashion loves with you.

First, the shoes that I got a great deal on last week: (via promotion code, who shops these days without one?)

Kelsi Dagger Brette 5" platform

I got these in black because I had to replace my other favorite black suede pumps that had an unfortunate fashion mishap…and boo.  I’m so excited for an event to wear these to…Les Dames, possibly, depending on the dressiness of my dress…

These also come in a RIDICULOUS leopard print:

Hello hotness!

Second, have y’all checked out the shopping website ASOS? Um, hello new mecca of inexpensive finds.  I’m sure most of you have known about this site forever but I just learned about it a few weeks ago.  I purchased this dress in winter white and I cannot wait to pair it with my favorite BCBG black belt I picked up in Manhattan and my new shoes this holiday season…another bonus: it was $25.

ASOS Shift Dress with Double Pleat Neck

Finally, here are a couple of cocktail dresses that I have (in the words of Rachel Zoe) “Maahhh-jor” crushes on:

Tibi Lace Shift Dress (available at Painted Pink & Saks Fifth Avenue)

Tracy Reese Azalea Marabou One-Shoulder (available at TracyReese.com)

I have to plug Hue Studio down the street.  I hope to do a post on Hue itself soon, but here’s a quick glance. After I saw miss Anna Dees in this FABULOUS Tracy Reese frock on the Hue Facebook page, I had to add it to the major crush list:

SO CUTE! Photo courtesy of Hue Studio

This weekend I’ll be heading over to Auburn to assist some of my out-of-town friends with cheering on the Tigers since Alabama is off this weekend…believe it or not, I actually found a cute navy and orange-ish (or red, depending on whether I am talking to an Auburn or Ole Miss fan) top from Francesca’s Collections here in town.  I would think that wearing orange and blue is about as pretty darn close as a Bama fan is going to get to ever saying War Eagle.  I’m so excited to check out the shops next to Toomer’s Corner…who knows, maybe I’ll come back with some new clothes!

Sneak peek for next week: One year old baby Cates is going to be a pumpkin for Halloween.

We can’t wait to see the pictures.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Meredith
