BIG News!
Fun Fashion Friday!
Happy Friday! We made it through yet another week. Thanks be to God!
Here are some of the fabulous things I saw on Pinterest this week. When possible, I’ve noted the source of the find as the caption in the photo.
Finally, a bit of news. This will be my last post as a regular Parish girl! I have accepted an offer to work for the Alabama Republican Party headquartered in Birmingham. We’ve got some big elections coming up within the next couple of years! I am moving to the Magic City next week. Not to worry, I’ll still be blogging from Bham for Ashley and Parish. While I am so excited to move, I am of course super sad to leave this gorgeous world of interior design, but hey, politics is my first love
I’m sure Bham has just as many gorgeous things as Parish does (Hello, Tracery! I’m coming to do a blog post on you!)
THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading with us! We only started this blog in July so to have so many fans so soon is absolutely amazing and we love every one of you! Keep reading, I know these girls will keep you informed on all of the exciting things going on here at AFGID!
Til next time,
Bob Seger at the BJCC
Tuesday night I headed up to Birmingham with my boyfriend’s awesome parents to see the one and only legend BOB SEGER in concert. The last time Sonny’s parents saw Seger was in Birmingham in…1978…and they were as eager to get back as we were to see him for the first time.
You know Bob’s music. I was hoping he would play some of my all of my all-time classic rock hits such as
AGAINST THE WIND – OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL – LIKE A ROCK – STILL THE SAME – NIGHT MOVES
and…WE’VE GOT TONIGHT
But, to everyone’s amazement, he PLAYED ALL OF THEM! His voice is still as strong and clear as it ever was. The crowd was definitely an even mix of original fans and new ones…
I was next to a couple in their 60′s while Sonny’s mom was next to a nice couple in their 20′s. Our seats were AMAZING. We were so close.
BOB WAS SO GREAT! Please excuse the picture quality, these are so not AFGID approved quality, but this was the best I could do whilst jamming out and trying to zoom flash free…
It was such a great night despite the torrential downpour we experienced on our way home to Montgomery. Please look at this ridiculously AWESOME T-shirt Mrs. Wills bought me:
…now, to download all of his greatest hits on Itunes. That’s where I’ll be if you need me. Huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Wills for taking us – we had an absolute blast! I can’t wait for my next big concert!
