Ashley Gilbreath

Ashley is the founder of Ashley Gilbreath Interior Design, established in 2007.

Ashley studied architecture at Auburn University, but soon redirected her focus towards her true love: interior design. Eager to hone her skills, Ashley spent time in New York City studying at the New York School of Interior Design and working for famed interior designer Richard Keith Langham.

Ashley’s career has taken her across the country and her portfolio includes hospitality, commercial, and residential design work. In late 2004 the Baton Rouge, LA native and her husband, Barrett, settled in Montgomery, AL. Since then, Ashley and her husband have restored multiple homes in Montgomery. And in 2007 Ashley founded Ashley Gilbreath Interior Design, providing commercial and residential design services.

Ashley defines her design philosophy simply as “casual elegance.” Always incorporating a thoughtful blending of sophistication and functionality, she specializes in creating timeless, livable spaces for the contemporary family.

In 2010, Ashley launched Parish, a retail shop celebrating her love of blending old and new elements, through a curated collection of timeless home furnishings and wares. Both Parish Shoppe and AGID’s design studio are located in Cloverdale Village in the Graham Building, which Ashley and her team restored.

Ashley counts the many lasting friendships she has formed with her clients over the years as one of the most rewarding aspects of her work at AGID. Outside of the design studio, you can most likely find her at home or at Rosemary Beach with her husband, Barrett, two children, Cates and Rett, and two boxers, Lawyer and Coco.

Rebecca Mathews

Rebecca was looking for something fun and different to do a few days a week and found herself at AGID, where she’s been office assistant since 2013!

Rebecca attended Auburn University and graduated in 2010, with a degree in public relations and a concentration in management. Rebecca was born and raised in Montgomery, AL and now resides just east of Montgomery, in Pike Road, AL with her husband, Wright, and their two dogs, Tank and Willie.

After work, you can most likely find Rebecca at home cooking or playing with her dogs, and chances are, if you knock on her door after 5 o’clock, she’ll invite you in for a glass of wine!

Jessica Missildine

Jessica has been an interior designer at AGID since August 2013—and has loved every little adventure along the way!

In her own words, Jessica’s design aesthetic is “timeless with a twist.” She studied interior design with a concentration in art history at the University of Alabama, but has known she wanted to be a designer ever since her childhood days of renovating Barbie’s dream house! Since graduating in 2009, Jessica has worked with both residential and commercial designers, as well as headed up a few projects of her own.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys shopping for antiques and going to the beach—and she will always take any excuse for a road trip! Jessica also loves Diet Coke, classic movies, and The Best Yes by Lisa TerKeurst.

Meagan Rhodes

With her fun energy, refreshing ideas, and knack for organization, Meagan was a very welcome addition to the AGID team as Parish manager in 2014.

A native of Mobile, AL, Meagan made the move to Montgomery in April 2014 after marrying Montgomery native William Rhodes. Meagan attended Auburn University and graduated in May 2009 with a major in apparel merchandising and a minor in business administration.

Outside of work, Meagan enjoys traveling, reading (anything by Mary Kay Andrews!), and spending time with family and friends. She also loves sushi and the beach!
